Cedrat Technologies Shanghai (abbreviated at Saidehang in Chinese) was established in 2025 in Shanghai, as a subsidiary of Cedrat Technologies’ headquarters in France. The company aims at distributing Cedrat Technologies’s mechatronics solutions and services related to piezoelectric and magnetic technologies in China.

1977

Birth of Cedrat Recherche

1989

Start of Engineering projects.

1995

First Patent on piezo actuators.

1998

Cedrat recherche delivers it’s 1^st flight model to ESA, an APA® based XYZ piezo mechanism for the ROSETTA mission.

2001

Re-Named as Cedrat Technologies.

2002

CTEC develops its 1st piezo optical pointing mechanism, the DTT35XS, for the CNES PHARAO mission.

2006

CTEC delivers its 1st series of XY piezo mechanisms to THALES for IR cameras.

2012

Spin-off Cedrat group & Join ASF.

2013

CTEC moves to new offices, doubling its surface area and registers its 3C® values.

2020

CTEC passes the 50-employee threshold and expands its premises.

2022

CTEC triples its cleanroom surface area, to meet the growing demand for clean mechatronic products in the space and optronics sectors.
